Nathan Smallcomb – Lead Architect, Partner
With over 15 years of technology experience and a passion for business, Nathan’s skill-set translates directly into customer success. Nathan founded Already Set Up and actively participates in as many client projects as possible. His dedication to the client’s needs is central to producing successful Internet marketing campaigns. Nathan graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a degree in business and currently lives in Northern California with his wife and daughter. The vines and trees you see on this website are inspired from Nathan’s surroundings.
Tom Fortunato – VP Sales, Managing Partner
Tom Fortunato has 20+ years of sales and sales management experience. He has worked for large technology companies such as EMC Corporation as well as smaller companies and start-ups. Recently Tom spent 9 years involved with the services side of the business working with Global System Integrators like IBM, Accenture and KPMG. Tom graduated from the University of California and has resided in the Santa Rosa area since 1989. He takes full advantage of what the area offers and enjoys playing golf and working in the garden. Although he tried, Tom was unable to find a larger Christmas tree.
Patrick Collins – Operations Advisor, Partner
Patrick Collins brings 20+ years of operations and marketing experience to Already Set Up. Patrick has a passion for solving customer issues and enthusiasm for documenting processes. Patrick does a phenomenal job at keeping records, keeping customers and keeping us all focused. Patrick and his wife Lynda enjoy their fantastic pool and awesome wine cellar.
Ben M. – Lead Designer
Is there any surprise than Ben’s picture has some sort of swoopy artistic blur effect? Did you notice that his arm divides top and bottom with proportions inline with the golden ratio? Ben did. Ben has been designing websites and producing graphics since the mid 90′s. Unlike many modern graphic designers, Ben’s experience is built on a solid foundation of artistic skill – not just Photoshop and Fireworks super-mastery, which is glaringly present. Like any designer, aesthetics are top priority for Ben and he hardly ever compromises a beautiful design. Unlike other graphic designers Ben is prompt with his work.

Doug came to Already Set Up with zero sales experience yet he is one of our top producing sales people. How does that work out? James S. – Coder Extraordinaire
PHP = EZ for James. Toss in some XML, Javascript, JQuery, SQL, CSS and TNT and you’ve got a good picture of James’ skill set. James helps us connect APIs and is credited with coding the Nexternal plugin for WordPress. James also wrote a phenomenal 301 redirect script that searches inbound URLs for substrings and redirects accordingly. This is extremely useful for content management systems that have multiple dynamic pages for a single database item – like ecommerce sites. If you need something custom coded, James can do it.
Sam O. – SEO Superstar
If Sam’s middle name were Edward, we could say he was born to be an SEO, but his parents decided a middle name was unnecessary so his initials are just SO. But Sam is far from so-so. With an advanced degree in statistics, Sam spent many years working for the Gates Foundation tabulating and analyzing Malaria stats. When he learned about split AB testing he was hooked on search engine algorithms. Sam is constantly surfing the net to find relevant content for our client’s sites. Sometime we wonder if Sam has actually been to every single site on the Internet. If you need a pingback from a PR 5, or a reciprocal from a Majestic ACR 6, Sam knows who and where. Everything you ever needed to know about creating authority online is all contained in Sam’s brain.
Zak D. – WordPress Slicer
When custom designs call for custom WordPress layouts, (Mohammed) Zak D is our go-to guy. With all of his intimate knowledge of the WordPress backend, you could say Zak is really in “the loop.” Sometimes our clients want a custom WordPress design that would be hard to code in simple HTML, but then Zak comes through and finds a way to coax it into WordPress so the client can edit their own site.
